Elizabeth Shope

professional assistant professor/honors coordinator

Elizabeth Shope, Professional Assistant Professor of Undergraduate Studies, has directed the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Honors Program since 2014 and currently teaches Honors First-Year Seminar. Shope has over 11 years of experience serving in leadership and professional positions in higher education. Shope is a two-time TAMUCC alumni, completing her bachelors degree in Sociology in 2005 and her Masters degree in Educational Administration in 2012. She was the 2008 TAMUCC commencement speaker and in 2013 she completed the Leadership, Excellence, and Development (L.E.A.D.) Program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Shope and her husband have two daughters and enjoy exploring South Texas historical sites.
