The Department of Undergraduate Studies (DUGS) is home to several programs that support undergraduate student success at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Each year, we engage over 2,000 new first-year students in our First-Year Learning Community Program, which includes over 100 sections of First-Year Seminar each semester (UCCP 1101 and UCCP 1102). Our Honors program supports over 100 undergraduate students across our five Colleges. We offer several applied degrees through our Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) program as well as the University Studies degree (UNVS). Our partnership with Flour Bluff High School enriches the academic careers of our University Preparatory High School (UPHS) students each year.
